"rumgewieselt"

Hello, can you please tell me what "rumgewieselt" means? It seems to be an adjective (The sentence is "Er ist rumgewieselt wie ein Verrückter.") Thanks a lot!

Hello, no, it is a verb form. It consists of the parts rum-ge-wiesel-t. The verb is "wieseln", which is only used informally and means "to walk around quickly from one place to another." "Wieseln" comes from the Noun "Wiesel", which means "weasel." "Gewieselt" is the participle form. And the "rum-" is short for "herum", that means something like "around."
