“ Humans in Space ” symposium The connection between research done at earth-based facilities such as : envihab and research carried out in space is the theme of the 19th “ Humans in Space ” symposium, currently being staged by the DLR Institute of Aerospace Medicine in Cologne from 7th to 12th July 2013.
The spectrum of scientific events ranges from astrobiology and psychology to space tourism and the insights that could be gained from the Mars500 mission.

www.gcb.des participation in this campaign is to study the influence of the Leonid meteor shower on the upper atmosphere and to search for - possibly organic - ablation products inserted by the Leonid meteors into the mesosphere.
So this will be ASUR s first mission related to astrobiology.

Die gegenwärtige Wissenschaft untersucht eine Vielzahl photoautotropher, lithoautotropher, chemolitho- und chemoorganotropher Bakterien hinsichtlich ihres Potentials Minerale zu verändern, aufzulösen, zu akkumulieren oder zu bilden.

Graduates are especially prepared to work in interdisciplinary projects involving both Earth and biological sciences ( e.g., biogeochemistry, astrobiology ).

Abgänger dieses Schwerpunkts sind gut darauf vorbereitet, in interdisziplinären Projekten zu arbeiten, die sowohl geologische als auch biologische Forschung beinhalten ( z.B. Biogeochemie, Astrobiologie ).
