Baroque love poetry - Baroque goes hiphop
Our project starts with two rather theoretical texts, " Baroque poetry " and " Petrarchism ", which offer some information about what was important for the poets of that time and which influence was exerted on the German baroque love poetry by the Italian poet Petrarch.

Between 1341 and his death in 1374, Petrarch wrote as many as 9 versions of it.
This comprehensive collection is basically about the meeting of the speaker of the poems with his beloved Laura a love which is not returned and which is characterised by yearning and desperation up to the early death of his love.

Insgesamt 9 Fassungen schrieb Petrarca zwischen 1341 und seinem Tod 1374.
In dieser umfassenden Sammlung geht es im Wesentlichen um die Begegnung des lyrischen Ich mit der geliebten Laura in Form von unerwidertem Liebeswerben, Sehnsucht und Verzweiflung des Liebenden bis zum frühen Tod der Geliebten.
