Species that are adapted to extreme living conditions or colder environments, such as the Northern emerald ( Somatochlora arctica ) and the cranberry fritillary ( Boloria aquilonaris ), are highly interesting for entomologists.
Very special insects live on the summit of the Brocken: snow flies ( Chionea ), unable to fly, and snow fleas ( Hypogastrura nivicola ) both live on the ground and walk around on the shining snow areas.

Interessant für Insektenkundler sind Spezialisten für extreme Lebensräume oder kältere Lagen wie z.B. die Arktische Smaragdlibelle oder der Moor-Perlmutterfalter.
Ganz besondere Insekten leben auf der Brockenkuppe: die flugunfähige Schneemücke und der ebenfalls Boden bewohnende „ Schneefloh “ laufen auf besonnten Schneeflächen umher.

Thus there came to be plants here such as soldanella (Soldanella montana), hellebore (Veratrum album), fritillary (Proclossiana eunomia) and many other migrants from the Alps.For example Galeobdolon luteum came here from the fold of Bohemia in the same way.

www.ckrumlov.czDiese Bedeutung besteht nicht nur in der Klima-Beeinflussung, sondern auch darin, dass die Region ? eský Krumlov eine permanente Kreuzung von Pflanzen- sowie Tierarten darstellte, die in den letzten Eis- und Warmzeiten hin und her über unser Gebiet in der Abhängigkeit von den ändernden Temperatur- und Feuchtigkeitsverhältnissen zogen.
So kommen hier Berg-Troddelblume (Soldanella montana), weißer Germer (Veratrum album), Nassgallen-Perlmutterfalter (Proclossiana eunomia) und viele andere Migranten von den Alpen, als auch (Galeobdolon luteum) vom mittelböhmischen Kessel vor.
