Als Prüfobjekte kamen eine 3 mm dicke Hartfaserplatte und eine 18 mm dicke Gipsfaserplatte zum Einsatz.
Dies entspricht im Original einer Spanplatte von 24 mm Dicke bzw. einer 140 mm dicken Kalksandsteinwand.
