Während der Zeit der DDR befuhren die historischen Schiffe unter dem Namen „ Weiße Flotte Dresden “ die Elbe.
Heute besteht die Flotte aus neun restaurierten Raddampfern aus den Jahren 1879 bis 1929, zwei sogenannten Salonschiffen aus den 1990er Jahren sowie zwei Motorschiffen von 1982 und 1987.
Der „Personendampfer Diesbar“, gebaut 1884, ist ein technisches Denkmal und wird noch original mit Kohlefeuerung betrieben.
