Mit dem 3. Preis in Höhe von 5000 Euro, gestiftet von der Europäischen Akademie der Wissenschaften und Künste, Salzburg, wurde die Österreicherin Sophie Rennert ausgezeichnet.
Als Anerkennungspreise in Form des Bärenreiter Urtext Preises, gestiftet vom gleichnamigen Verlag, wurden Notengutscheine in Höhe von jeweils 300 Euro an drei weitere Finalisten vergeben:
Amelia Scicolone (Schweiz), Sooyeon Lee (Südkorea), Wolfgang Schwaiger (Österreich).
