Einige theoretische Voraussagen wurden experimentell bestätigt, wie z.B. die Abhängigkeit des osmotischen Drucks von der Armzahl oder die Kontraktion der Sterne in Gegenwart mehrwertiger Gegenionen.
In Fortführung der begonnnen Arbeiten möchten wir vor allem kationische Sterne einer systematischen Untersuchung unterziehen, wobei als Variablen die Sternkonzentration, die Wertigkeit der Gegenionen, die Temperatur und die Architektur der Sterne (Armzahl und Armlänge) variiert werden sollen.
Insbesondere spezifische Wechselwirkungen zwischen Gegenionen und Sternpolymeren sind von Interesse.
