Der Besuch von Dr. Brauksiepe wurde vom KAS Regionalprogramm Golf-Staaten in Zusammenarbeit mit der Deutschen Botschaft in Maskat organisiert und erfolgte im Rahmen eines regelmäßigen Austauschs zwischen Abgeordneten beider Länder :
Im November 2012 war eine Delegation von fünf omanischen Parlamentariern auf Einladung der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung nach Berlin gereist, dazu wird Ende März Bundestagspräsident Prof. Dr. Nobert Lammert die omanische Hauptstadt besuchen.

In November 2012, a delegation of five Omani parliamentarians traveled to Berlin at the invitation of KAS. Most recently, the President of German Parliament, Prof. Dr Norbert Lammert, has visited the Omani capital in late March 2013.

In 2010 the German-Omani Association conducted a photo contest for the first time in the history of the GOA. Eligible to participate were Omani students studying in Germany. The theme was " Omani students see Germany ".

Zur Eröffnung durch den Botschafter S.E. Ahmed Al-Hinai waren aus Oman vier omanische Künstler angereist.
Die Gesellschaft hat die Wanderausstellung mit den Beträgen von DM 15.244 ( 2001 ), € 6.000 ( 2002 ) und € 6.000 ( 2003 ) gefördert.

It was opened by Ambassador Ahmed Al-Hinai, and in attendance were four Omani artists who traveled here for the occasion.
The German Omani Association supported the exhibition financially to the extent of DM 15,244 in 2001, EUR 6000 in 2002, and EUR 6000 in 2003.
