Er ist Magister der Soziologie und hat mit der Arbeit “Metamorphosis of Illegality” an der Universität Frankfurt am Main promoviert.Er arbeitet zum Thema Transformation des Wohlfahrtsstaates und Themen wie Migration und Bürgerlichkeit.
Er war wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter im Forschungsprojekt TRANSIT MIGRATION.
