Methodisch werden im Projekt Q1 laserbasierte Bildgebungsmethoden der linearen und nichtlinearen Mikroskopie in unterschiedlichen Moden weiterentwickelt und dem gesamten Verbund zur Verfügung gestellt.
Vereinfacht kommen folgende Methoden einzeln oder multimodal zum Einsatz:Konfokale Laser-Scanning Mikroskopie ( CLSM ), Multiphotonenmikroskopie ( SHG, THG, Autofluoreszenz ), Streulichtmikoskopie unter Nutzung ultrakurzer Laserpulse, Optische Kohärenztomographie ( OCT ), Optische Projektionstomographie ( OPT ), Intravital OCT. Methodenabhängig sind unterschiedliche Ankopplungsmoden möglich bzw. notwendig.
Der spezielle Fokus liegt zunehmend auf der Entwicklung von in vivo Technologien.
