The Sony Center at Potsdamer Platz, home to the corporation ’ s European headquarters, consists of an ensemble of buildings surrounding a covered piazza open to the public.
It also offers various leisure options, as well as the Filmmuseum Berlin – German Film Archive ( Deutsche Kinemathek ) and its Marlene Dietrich collection.
Two rooms belonging to the former Hotel Esplanade and classified as a historical monument have been integrated into the complex, after having been moved several meters in 1996 before construction work began.
