The initiative group “ Kurzfilm macht Schule ” ( short films in class ), consisting of the AG Kurzfilm, the Federal Agency for Civic Education, the research project for integrative film didactics at the Hochschule Freiburg, Vision Kino and the Schroedel publishing house, set out to support the use of short films in class.
Sylke Gottlebe, managing director of the AG Kurzfilm, will present the results of the project for the first time at the 26th Braunschweig International Filmfestival.

Mit diesem Ziel startete die Initiativgruppe „ Kurzfilm macht Schule “ – bestehend aus den Projektpartnern AG Kurzfilm, Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung, Forschungsprojekt Integrative Filmdidaktik der Pädagogischen Hochschule Freiburg, Vision Kino gGmbH – Netzwerk für Film- und Medienkompetenz und Schroedel Verlag.
Sylke Gottlebe, Geschäftsführerin der AG Kurzfilm, stellt zum Internationalen Filmfest Braunschweig erstmals die Ergebnisse des Kooperationsprojektes vor.

Since its foundation the KFA brought numerous and diverse film-related projects to completion.

Die KFA versteht sich als Schnittstelle zwischen Filmschaffenden und Nutzern und nimmt Einfluss auf filmpolitische Prozesse, beispielsweise als Gründungs- und Vorstandsmitglied der AG Kurzfilm – Bundesverband Deutscher Kurzfilm, mit der die KFA in stetigem, konstruktiven Dialog steht.
Seit ihrer Gründung führte die KFA zahlreiche Projekte durch.

When the German short film association AG Kurzfilm was founded in May 2002 Sylke Gottlebe managed the development and expansion of this federal German body representing short film and was its managing director until August 2013.
She was a member of the Administrative Council of the FFA (Germany's main federal film funding body) from 2004 and a member of the Supervisory Board of German Films (the German film exporting body) since 2010.

Mit der Gründung der AG Kurzfilm im Mai 2002 übernahm Sylke Gottlebe den Aufbau des Bundesverbandes Deutscher Kurzfilm und war bis August 2013 als Geschäftsführerin tätig.
Sie war ab 2004 Mitglied im Verwaltungsrat der Filmförderungsanstalt (FFA) und seit 2010 Mitglied im Aufsichtsrat von German Films.
