Sie ist Lehrbeauftragte an der Universität Maribor und Mentorin bei dem auf der kroatischen Insel Premuda stattfindenden Sommerkolleg Literarisches Übersetzen des Instituts für theoretische und angewandte Translationswissenschaft ( ITAT ) der Universität Graz.
2008 erhielt sie den slowenischen Nationalpreis für literarische Übersetzung.
