Die Videoarbeit „Romanes“ beruht auf 270 Minuten Videomaterial, das 2009 im Rahmen eines Video-Workshops von Roma und Sinti Jugendlichen im Roma-Camp „Villaggio Attrezzato“ im römischen Stadtteil Centocello entstanden ist.
Der dreitägige Workshop bot den Teenagern im Alter von 16 bis 21 Jahren die Möglichkeit, Erfahrungen und Eindrücke vor und hinter der Kamera zu sammeln.
