25. März 2006 alle Architekturen In Sendmail wurde eine bestehende Wettlaufsituation bei der Verarbeitung von asynchronen Signalen entdeckt.
Ein Angreifer kann so von außen beliebigen Code mit den Privilegien des Benutzers ausführen, der sendmail gestartet hat (normalerweise root).
