Nachdem sie mit einigen ihrer frühesten Demos (allen voran »Bushman«) erste Club-Präsenz erreicht und sich durch denkwürdige Konzerte im Ruhrgebiet einen Namen gemacht haben, erscheint als erste Veröffentlichung im März 1987 auf Last Chance Records die Maxi-Single »Divine Service«.
Es folgen »Bushman« (Herbst 1987) und im frühen 1988 »The House Of Unkinds«, das Debutalbum von THE FAIR SEX.

In 1987 they released their first maxi-singles “Divine Service” (March) and “Bushman” (October) followed up in February 1988 by “The House Of Unkinds”, their debut-album (all Last Chance Records).
