www.project.zhaw.chDie historische Analyse der Kontroverse um die Relativitätstheorie zeigt, dass die fundamentale Umgestaltung der Grundlagen der Physik nicht nur die akademische Wissenschaft betraf, sondern auch Wissensbestände, die außerhalb der akademischen Wissenschaft existierten.
In einer kürzlich erschienen Publikation, Ergebnis eines Teilprojektes im Forschungsprojekt The Reorganization of Classical Knowledge on Gravitation der Abteilung 1 des MPIWG, wurden diese Wissensbestände ebenso analysiert wie der von den Vertretern dieser Wissensbestände geführte Kampf um Anerkennung in der akademischen Physik.

These bodies of knowledge—and the struggles waged by self-proclaimed scholars to have their findings recognized by physicists working within academic science—are the focus of my recent publication.
This study is part of a larger project within the Institute.
