In her video and slide installation, Per Quanto Mi Riguarda, Eske Schlüters focuses on the reception of works of art through reproduction media such as films, books, slides or postcards.
Based on a text of Italian artist Ketty La Rocca, she investigates the extent to which our idea of a work of art changes if what we see is not an original work in a museum setting but only a reproduction of the work.

In ihrer Video- und Diainstallation Per Quanto Mi Riguarda thematisiert Eske Schlüters die Rezeption von Kunstwerken über Reproduktionsmedien wie Filme, Bücher, Dias oder Postkarten.
Ausgehend von einem Text der italienischen Künstlerin Ketty La Rocca, fragt sie danach, inwiefern sich unsere Vorstellung von einem Kunstwerk verändert, wenn wir es nicht als Original im musealen Raum erfahren, sondern lediglich eine Abbildung davon zu sehen bekommen.
