Am 29. Januar wurde in Ghana der “ Holocaust Remembrance Day ” der Vereinten Nationen begangen .
Die Gedenkveranstaltung wurde vom United Nations Information Centre ( UNIC ) in Accra mit Unterstützung der Deutschen und Israelischen Botschaft in Ghana organisiert und fand im Goethe-Institut in Accra statt.

United Nations ’ Holocaust Remembrance Day aims to remember the victims of the Holocaust on 27. January , the day of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau .
