Da sich der Unterhalt der Software als eher schwierig und sehr zeitraubend entpuppte, ergab sich die Idee, eine neue Spice Version für Dymola zu entwickeln, deren Unterhalt um ein Vielfaches einfacher sein würde.
1987 entwickelte ich erste Dymola Modelle zur Beschreibung bipolarer Transistoren in Dymola.
Diese Modelle wurden im Kapitel 6 des Buches Continuous System Modeling vorgestellt.

In 1987, I developed first Dymola models for the description of bipolar junction transistors ( BJTs ) in Dymola.
