The Comune is run by the Giunta comunale (governing group) whose members come from the Consiglio comunale (city council). Both groups report to the Mayor (Sindaco). The Campidoglio (Capitol), one of the Seven Hills of Rome, is the seat of the Comune di Roma , the Rome city council.
