The motif shows a “ Halwai ” from an ethnic group that traditionally makes sweets.
The name is taken from the Arabic word “ halwa ”, meaning “ sweet ”.
The Halwai live mainly in the north of India, where the town of Bikaner is situated too.

Das Engagement der verschiedenen Gruppen wurde wie in den Vorjahren durch einige der in Malta ansässigen Botschaften ermöglicht, die jeweils die Verantwortung für einen Abend übernehmen und das Programm dafür zusammenstellen.
