Improving livelihoods through community development funds :
The main objective of the first phase of the livelihood component is to set up accountable community development funds for the implementation of small-scale and short-term projects in cooperation with communities, the local government and administrative agencies.
In order to understand properly the environment in which it works, GIZ carries out objective livelihood analyses, context studies and exchanges with local development partners.

Hauptziel der ersten Phase dieser Komponente ist es, rechenschaftspflichtige Gemeindeentwicklungsfonds einzurichten, mit denen kleine, kurzfristige Projekte zusammen mit Gemeinschaften und lokalen Regierungs- und Verwaltungsstellen umgesetzt werden.
Um eine klare Vorstellung von ihren Arbeitsbedingungen zu bekommen, führt die GIZ Kontextstudien und Analysen der Lebensgrundlagen durch und tauscht sich mit lokalen Entwicklungspartnern aus.
