ours МЕСТОИМ. In French, pronouns reflect the number and gender of the noun they are standing for. Thus ours is translated by le nôtre, la nôtre or les nôtres according to what is being referred to: the blue car is ours = la voiture bleue est la nôtre; their children are older than ours = leurs enfants sont plus âgés que les nôtres.:

our ОПРЕД. СЛ. In French, determiners agree in gender and number with the noun they qualify. So our is translated by notre + masculine or feminine singular noun (notre chien, notre maison) and nos + plural noun (nos enfants).
When our is stressed, à nous is added after the noun: our house = notre maison à nous.
